Individual therapy provides a confidential space in which to explore whatever is troubling you. There is no threshold to meet. You may feel in crisis, you may not. Simply, if you feel sad, anxious or overwhelmed, therapy can help.
You may feel unhappy or confused by a relationship, and how you feel in it. Perhaps you have reached a milestone, like starting a family or retirement, but do not understand your feelings around this. Or, are you thinking of separation or divorce, or going through that process, and need a space to reflect on this, away from well meaning friends and relatives?

You are confused by the relationships in your life, perhaps extending to friendships. So often we minimise the impact friendships have on our life, but they are like any other relationship and can go through difficult times, transitions and changes. If a close friendship ends suddenly, it can feel like a breakup.
You may want help with understanding your relationship with your parents, or, have become a parent yourself. The journey to becoming and being a parent is complex, and can bring up all sorts of feelings, some of which can be harder to articulate or even know about. This can be additionally challenging if your partner feels differently to you.
