Therapy and Relationship Support for Individuals and Couples
VICTORIA WALSH (MA MBACP)
Is a relationship in your life making you unhappy? Has something changed, but you’re not sure what? You want to feel close to someone, but it feels too hard?
I have been a psychotherapist for couples and individuals for several years, and am passionate about helping clients understand themselves and the relationships in their lives. Prior to becoming a therapist, I was a family lawyer at a well-known firm, and this experience provides me with an additional understanding of relationships, and relationship breakdown, which I harness in my psychotherapy practice.

Relationships are the bedrock of who we are.
Irrespective of our backgrounds, wealth, careers or other achievements, relationships shape who we are and impact how we feel about ourselves.
Relationships can enrich our lives, making us feel whole or special; but, at the same time, they can be a source of pain, confusion and sadness.
You may be in a relationship and feel lonely or distant from your partner. You may feel entrenched in the same hurtful argument. You may care about – or love – someone, but the relationship wounds you.
Furthermore, difficulties in relationships are not limited to those with intimate partners. The nature and quality of any relationship has the capacity to cause distress. This includes relationships with parents, siblings, friends, wider family members and, of course, your children.
This is why I offer therapy to both couples and individuals– all relationships deserve thought and consideration, and so often issues in one relationship have a ripple effect on others. Please look at the different services I offer below and do get in touch if you would like to know more.
